For this ready meal, only the cooked pork (or chicken) needs to be added.
The included ingredients are corn Mote, ChuñJust soak for an hour and then cook together with the included spices for half an hour. Finally, add the fresh meat and cook for another half hour: done!
If desired, the soup can be seasoned with some spicier Ají afterwards.
Fricasé is a very traditional Bolivian dish, especially popular in Bolivia's seat of government, La Paz. The main ingredient is pork, along with white corn Mote corn, black Chuño potatoes, and Ají Amarillo. It is usually served in a deep bowl with a portion of broth.
